The first TESC Colloquium of the year 2025 will take place the 23rd of January (16:00-17:00h) in S505, followed by some drinks.
We will welcome Jannis Krais (University of Twente) as the speaker of this Colloquium:
Precision mental health through just-in-time adaptive interventions
Jannis Kraiss is assistant professor of Psychology, Health, and Technology at the University of Twente. His research focuses on the use of mobile technologies and advanced research methods, such as ecological momentary assessment, ecological momentary interventions, and micro-randomized trials, for measuring and promoting mental health in (non-)clinical populations in everyday life. He is particularly interested in developing and evaluating just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAIs) for mental health. In his talk, Jannis will present results from a recent micro-randomized trial evaluating the proximal effects of different psychological interventions in people at-risk for mental disorders. He will also present an overview of ongoing research projects focused on the development and evaluation of JITAIs for different groups, including people with depression and anxiety disorders.
